About NLP

Neuro-linguistic Programming or (NLP for short) is about how we communicate with ourselves and with other people; the language and the patterns that we use to help us achieve/or not, our goals in life.  It can also help us to manage the way we feel at any given time.

It is a way of helping you to understand how your mind works and how you can rewire some of those ‘old’ and unhelpful beliefs, fears or patterns/habits you may have that stop you from achieving success in your life.  Change is definitely possible but it can be difficult on the conscious level, as we are hardwired over time.  NLP works with you on the subconscious level and allows you to step out of your comfort zone and make those changes easily and effortlessly.

NLP will help you to manage the way you feel

When we receive information through our senses – sight, hearing, smells, tastes, sensations we process this information through a set of filters in our subconscious – our beliefs, values, previous decisions and experiences, memories, attitude, language.  The information will be generalized, distorted or deleted in order to fit into our model of the world (internal representation).  Everyone’s model or perception of the world is different due to our unique experiences.

All these things can affect how we think and feel, which in turn will affect our Emotions (State), our Physiology, and eventually our Behaviour

How can we change our STATE?

A STATE can be positive – confident, happy, excited, loved and empowered or negative – angry, frustrated, sad, tired, fearful, anxious.  The state we are in can affect how we feel; it also determines how we behave and our ability to perform well.  We act very differently when we feel confident, strong and resourceful to when we feel anxious, afraid, etc.

NLP will help you to find the key that will open the door to success, just think of that!
